These terms cover bookings, treatments, our online shop and how we work together — between you and Body & Soul, a beauty therapy salon in Sydenham, Christchurch. By booking an appointment or placing an order with us, you agree to them.

Bookings and appointments

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for your appointment so your treatment can start on time. If you arrive late, we will do our best to fit you in, but your treatment time may need to be shortened rather than pushing back the rest of the day’s bookings. You can book online any time at /booknow, or by phone during salon hours — see our opening hours.

Cancellations and no-shows

We require 24 hours notice for any cancellations. If no cancellation is made you may be charged $30 per 30 minutes at the discretion of your therapist.

Deposits for long or group bookings

For long or group bookings we may ask for a deposit to secure your appointment; the amount and the cut-off for cancelling without losing it are still to be confirmed.

Consultations and consent

Some treatments need a consultation form before we begin. Please tell us about any medical conditions, medications, allergies and pregnancy so your therapist can choose the right treatment for you safely. Anyone under 16 needs a parent or guardian present.

Patch tests

Tinting and IPL treatments need a patch test before your first appointment; the timing for this is still to be confirmed.

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers can be purchased through our online shop. Full terms for gift vouchers, including how they can be used and redeemed, are set out on our gift voucher terms page.

The online shop

Prices in our online shop are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. An order is accepted once we confirm it. Delivery is covered by our shipping and delivery information, and returns are covered by our refund and returns page.

Payment

We accept payment by Stripe and Afterpay. Your card details are handled entirely on their own secure systems and are never stored by us.

Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act

We want you to be happy with every treatment and every product you buy from us. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Privacy

We look after your personal information carefully. See our privacy policy for what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page tells you when they were last changed.
