Peels and Facials
Clients often ask us about the difference between a peel or a facial. We will always consult and confirm what you are having when you attend your appointment.
Why a Peel?
Peels have become common place in Beauty Clinics, but not all peels are equal. If you are not sure which one to have ask your therapist. Some peels target specific needs such as acne, pigmentation, fine lines, redness, lax skin, etc while others are more general for a good exfoliation leaving you firm with a glow. Dead skin cells do not hold moisture, so it is important to get rid of them through peeling. It is also a misconception that you will go red after a peel and that it will thin your skin. Choosing the right peel however is important especially if we know you have reactive or sensitive skin. Most of our peels are combined with an Omnilux light to suit your skin. This treatment is called an Omnipeel.
At Body and Soul, we have a range of Image peels (I Peels) and Priori Superceutical Peels (for those using retinols in their homecare) and LCA peels (lactic/glycolic acid 25%) for age prevention and acne sufferers.
Why a Facial?
Some of our clients love a pamper and therefore our facials offer a variety of experiences from a mini facial in 45 minutes to a 75-minute full facial experience. Our new Image facials are designed for special occasions and include a variety of products to suit your skin type focusing more on layering products to get the desired result whether that is a glow for a ball or hydration before or after the summer sun, or in winter air conditioning. Our Priori Deluxe Anti-aging facials will include a facial massage and Brow sculpture.

Back to basics get ready for spring
Week 1 – Pedicure $85
We suggest booking 2 Medi pedicures, 4 weeks apart to get your feet in great shape for summer. No hard heels, callouses or claw toenails and a pretty colour.
Have your feet pampered with a pedicure or enjoy a spa pedicure which includes a foot massage and mask.
Pedicure with gel extra as we need extra time.
Week 2 – Shellac fingernails $55
Shellac is still the least invasive coating you can put on a nail to prevent damage. Powder coats and other acrylic type polymers are fine while on but when you stop you realise the damage. With a builder gel we are also able to help strengthen the gel promoting longevity and treat your cuticles with conditioning cuticle oil.
Tip: don’t pick but use a file. Gel should be done 2- 3 weekly, so we have priced our sets accordingly at $35, $45 or $55 for 4 weeks. Allow 1 hour for a treatment. Why not book 2 sessions 3 weeks apart to get that length you are after and the strength and condition. Sometimes it is the simple things that make a difference to how we feel about ourselves and give us a sense of wellbeing.

Book one large area for hair removal (reduction) and receive 20% discount off a second area.
Either bring a friend or treat yourself for the 2 within the month. Moroccan Tan gives a gorgeous tan with no orange or blotches. Wears well for 6-10 days when applying moisturiser.
Tips for spray Tanning: shave or wax at least 1-2 days before and give yourself a good scrub prior to the tan. Don’t apply deodorant or moisturiser on the day as these will repel the tan. Wear loose clothing to ensure no rubbing off afterwards.
G strings and disposable mop caps are provided, or you may like to use your own underwear.
