My initial career was in Chemistry working at the DSIR as a Chemistry Technician for 9 years. I returned to work in 1997 after raising four boys with my husband at the time for 14 years. After training at the National School of Aesthetics 2 years later I opened my own business in Kilmore Street called Body and Soul. It was nearly 2 years later in 2000 that I moved to Washington Way where we celebrate 25 years in the current premises in August 2025.

To further my knowledge of skin and its complexities, I completed a Biochemistry Degree at Canterbury University in 2019.

 I specialise in skin analysis and treatment with active ingredients like Retinol and alpha hydroxy acids and the use of LED Light Therapy and laser.

I can explain clearly to you how the skin functions and how you can achieve optimal skin quality using Priori and Image skincare products along with LED, Derma needling or laser modalities. Regular clinic visits are essential, akin to personal training sessions, to maintain your skin’s health.

With 25 years of experience specialising in dealing with facial spider veins, rosacea and pigmentation of the face and am well able to help you with any other concerns.

I have been working at Body and Soul for over 20 years but have a total of 29 years of experience as a Beauty Therapist. My passion for this profession never ceases, as I love helping clients look and feel their best. It brings me great satisfaction to see them achieve their goals, whether it’s with makeup, facial treatments, or nails.

I specialise in skin diagnosis and facial treatments, including Cryopen (the targeting of skin tags and keratosis) and Proton Pen techniques our brand of derma needling. I can also recommend the best skincare regimen for you, utilising active ingredients from Priori or Image Skincare to maintain quality skin thus preventing aging.

New to the salon is the Hi-Brow service a combination of Henna and tint. Also to enhance the eyes I am experienced in lash lifting and tinting. I consider myself an expert waxing technician, dedicated to making you look and feel great. IPL hair reduction treatments for those clients who would like reduced hair growth results are also part of my repertoire.

Massage is another one of my specialties, whether it’s for your face, full body, or targeting specific aches or pains. I assure you that my techniques will help you relax and unwind. With the knowledge I’ve gained over the years, I have a deep understanding of tension, stress, and muscle fatigue, allowing me to assist you with technique-focused massage therapy.

I strive to create a friendly and down-to-earth atmosphere, making my clients feel at ease during any service, whether it’s a wax, facial, or massage.
