TREATMENTS WITH OMNILUX™

OMNILUX™ is a 20-minute photodynamic therapy treatment that is often followed by a skin-boosting facial.

For maximum skin benefits and long-lasting results, a course of nine treatments over three weeks is recommended.

• Combination light therapy is recommended for acne prone skins and consists of a course of nine alternate OMNILUX blue™ and OMNILUX revive™ treatments over four weeks
• Allow at least 48 hours between treatments
• Never use OMNILUX blue™ and OMNILUX revive™ in the same treatment session as this reduces the treatment efficacy

Optimum results will not be seen until four to eight weeks after treatment, because the natural processes of healing and rejuvenation stimulated by the light therapy continues to work for a length of time following the treatments.

An independent study revealed that over 80 per cent of those who were treated with OMNILUX revive™ light therapy saw a softening of fine lines following the treatment, while 75 per cent reported an overall improvement in skin smoothness and texture.

For acne skins on average, you can expect a 70 percent improvement in acne lesions following an OMNILUX blue™ therapy treatment and over 80 percent when a combination of OMNILUX revive™ and OMNILUX revive™ are administered.

OMNILUX blue™ and OMNILUX revive™ are highly effective treatments that are safe, painless and do not generate heat, so will not damage the skin. The laser-free light therapy works to encourages the body to stimulate it’s own healing response. The only safety measure required during treatment is that the patient wears goggles to protect their eyes.

There has never been a reported case of adverse side effects such as redness or irritation from the treatment and the light does not damage skin in any way.

Makeup and sun block needs to be removed prior to treatment and you are required to wear safely goggles. The light is then positioned close the face and the treatment takes 20 minutes. It is completely painless and as there is no recovery period, you can go straight home after treatment.
